Six weeks is a budget, not a delivery time.

Handover scope for residential and fit-out projects needs planning, sequencing, and real capacity.

"Six weeks to handover" is almost always a budget someone hopes to hit, not a sequence anyone has planned. The two are not the same.

Real handover scope — snagging, commissioning, documentation, client walk-throughs — has dependencies that do not compress just because the date is fixed.

We plan handover backwards from the date with real capacity against each task. When the plan does not fit, that is information the project needs early, not a surprise in week five.
