ATLANTIS successfully completed the supply and installation of Bridge Expansion Joint Systems at King Khalid International Airport (KKIA), delivering a robust and watertight movement solution designed to withstand demanding operational and environmental conditions. The project involved the rehabilitation of existing bridge expansion joints to enhance durability, waterproofing performance, and long-term structural integrity.

Project Outcome

The project successfully replaced the deteriorated expansion joint system with a modern, high-performance assembly utilizing BEJS, EMSEAL, and Wabo®Crete II technologies. The completed installation provides reliable movement accommodation, superior waterproofing protection, and enhanced structural performance, ensuring long-term operational reliability for one of Saudi Arabia's most important transportation infrastructure facilities.
